United States Military Offers Big Bonus For Water Treatment Specialist The United States Military has been offering rather large sign-on bonuses for Recruits and Active Soldiers according to an anonymous high ranking Army Officer. "We are currently seeking and advising individuals to cross-train in the Water Treatment and Purification field" says the undisclosed official. With our troops pulling out of desert occupied areas this can only mean that the Military is preparing for some sort of a natural disaster that could possibly interrupt the public water system. "The threshold of the average civilian without drinking water is 72 hours maximum." The Official went on to say "people will become very desperate for water. They will even start thieving and or killing each other just so they can provide enough drinking water for their families." The importance of the 72 hour threshold sounds quite like a Zombie Novel. Doctors from around the United States say that after 48 hours without water people will become severely dehydrated and in some cases will develop dry, cracking skin that would resemble open wounds like a zombie. "People will need to find drinkable water within 48 hours of a proposed natural disaster.They will need to boil the water for no less than 15 minutes before drinking." "Once civilians start to die from dehydration, all public sources of water will be deemed contaminated due to E-coli, Botulism and other bacteria that will infect healthy people and will cause the casualty rate to significantly rise" This Military Official says that there are steps for civilians to start taking immediately to ensure they have enough drinking water to last for months. "People need to take this threat very serious and start stocking up on fresh water. You can simply start bottling regular tap water, buy gallons of bottled water from your local grocery store and also start making or buying canned food items that need not be cooked. You can purchase MRE's from your local Military Surplus stores and also online." This sounds so much like a doomsday situation but, I can tell all of you that I will be stocking up on fresh drinking water, canned food items and even the basic medical supplies.
